good saturday
I found all of these books off my list at a wonderful, newly discovered used book store in near perfect condition. It's about a mile from my house and I never noticed it because it's so far back from the road. They even have a cute little reading corner with free coffee and tea. I'll be going back again soon. I also found some lovely inexpensive new sandals for spring at target for only $16. Now if it will only warm up just a smidge so I can wear them.

altered books continued
I've been helping my husband research altered book artists and came across this really interesting artist named Robert The. He creates objects and sculptures out of hardback books. I really like his approach to his work, a really unique way of making an altered book.

spring fever
The weather has been perfect lately and I went out and shot some beautiful cherry blossom trees today. Here's a few of my favorites. Hope everyone's having a wonderful weekend.

what I've been up to
I haven't been in the mood to blog much lately. Been off in my own little world. So here's a bit of what I've been up to.

books
I've been reading a LOT lately and my husband has been working on a lesson plan involving altered books. (I just finished the time traveler's wife and now I really want to work with molding paper and creating sculptures.) We were both completely inspired by this artist su blackwell
Here's just a few of her amazing book sculptures:
btw- I love these hitchcock looking photographs by Tom Hines.
