Just discovered the work of artistPolly Morgan. She uses taxidermied animals and places them in an elegantly dark setting. All of the animals she uses in her work have either been found in road casualties or were donated by vets whose deaths were natural or unpreventable. There's still a couple I couldn't bear to post because they were so hard to look at. Particularly one with a fox curled up in a bowl with a chandelier above it. While I understand her intention to turn it into something beautiful, it just breaks my heart.
