Just discovered these beautiful pieces by artist Anne ten Donkelaar. She has a series of "broken butterflies repaired with new wings and bodies." I love how different each one is. Their minimalist display just sets them off perfectly.

just discovered this beautiful series of photographs by Ulrika Kestere. If you click on the link she has a little story to go with them that makes it even more magical. I love when people get really creative with photography and create things from their imagination.

my fave for the night, Jessica Biel wearing that gorgeous elie saab dress that I desperately wanted someone to pull off. Looks amazing on her.

I don't usually like Charlize Theron but I couldn't help loving her outfit. That headband just completes it.


Angelina kind of reminds me of a vampire, especially with her stone cold face, but I'm kind of digging this look. And Brad looks dashing as always.


I love this dress, I just wish someone else wore it. She always has this smug look on her face which makes me want to smack her. and don't even get me started on that hair...

Had to throw in the gorgeously talented Michael Fassbender. Didn't even see him until they announced his category at the end. (love Clooney's golfing anecdote...)

television interiors: the secret circle

The Secret Circle is my latest guilty pleasure. I can't help but love this show. It may have something to do with the fact that I wanted to be witch when I was little. I'm also completely mesmerized by their secret abandoned house they hang out and practice magic in. This place is so amazing with the giant staircase, second hand furniture and makeshift lighting. The glass apothecary bottles, herb garden, antique mirrors and notes with spells taped up to the walls. Love it.

book cover!!

I just got the news last week from getty that penguin bought one of my photographs for a book cover! I am so excited. I can't wait until it comes out in May. I've been wanting this for a very long time. I also sold my largest piece yet that had been hanging in a restaurant since it opened I think 4 years ago. Wonderful end to a year that did not start off that great.
