movie interiors: Blow-Up

This is one of my favorite movies. My husband watched it in a film class in college and turned me onto it when we started dating. It's a very subtle mystery involving a fashion photographer in the sixties starring the lovely David Hemmings and Vanessa Redgrave. David Hemmings has this amazing loft complete with a photography studio. I want it.

each of these rooms has a different stage of developing. It's fun to watch someone go to so much work to zoom in on a photograph instead of just pushing a button on their computer.

ok, I had a really hard time finding images that would fit this movie, but clearly they aren't working out. Here's a big hint:

Seth Aaron was my favorite designer all season and I absolutely loved his collection. I was surprised that I really liked a few of Mila's pieces as well. Emilio however I think should have been left out and replaced with Jay.

It turns out that several of the remaining designers get to make collections and show them at fashion week. (I"m guessing to maybe confuse the people who show up so they don't know who the final three are before it airs?)

I love the new paint by number rugs from anthropologie. They are so cleverly done. Now if only I could afford one...

all my bags are packed

Every year I get spring fever and a very strong urge to go to the beach. It doesn't help that I love packing.

Polaroid PX 100

I got my first roll of the new polaroid film created by the impossible project and I am in love. It is sensitive though. None of my outdoors shots have turned out right, but the interiors are like a dream. I just ordered two more packs and I can't wait to use them!
